A Systematic Literature Review of Reliable Provisioning for Virtual Network Function Chaining

The abstraction of the network node functions using virtualization methods introduced an innovative architecture called Network Function Virtualization (NFV). In NFV, every software hosts a service recognized as Virtual (VNF). general, provider creates Service Chain (SFC) for sequence multiple requested VNFs by customers. Although NFV allows more flexible and economical approach, it is prone to error failure. Therefore, providing reliable provisioning VNF chaining one key issues in NFV. this paper, we present systematic literature review study pioneer research efforts that provide guaranteeing availability resource optimization. Our result analysis 21 screened papers. This paper presents our analysis, including different aspects algorithm, various adopted techniques provisioning, superiority drawbacks each algorithm based on proposed criteria evaluation algorithms.
